Description
The NYMPH reel is narrow and has an ultra large arbour for quick line retrieve. It has a full body rim preventing thin nymph lines slipping into wrong places and causing jams. The brake has been modified for lighter tippets and is super smooth. It also has a 360-degree adjustment.
Note the capacity of these reels is quite low compared to similar 4/5 reels and so we prefer to fish Euro Nymph specific lines (0wt) up to 4 weight ideally. This reel is too small to fish a 5 weight floating line with backing.
Our View
Finally, a reel purposefully designed for euro nymphing. You get an ultra large arbor to take the memory out of long leaders and quicken line pickup. The super-narrow arbor means you don't have to centre the line when retrieving, and the full-frame design stops thin lines getting caught between the spool and frame.
